Dr. Gavan Casteel comes from a long and distinguished line of chiropractors who have made significant contributions to the field. Dr. Gavan’s esteemed grandfather, Dr. Donald Casteel, was the original chiropractor in the Casteel family, establishing a legacy that spans generations. Recognizing and passionately teaching the numerous benefits of chiropractic care, Dr. Don instilled his deep love for the profession in his children and grandchildren, fostering a strong family tradition. Keeping with this rich heritage and the family’s unwavering love of chiropractic, Dr. Gavan graduated from the well-respected Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 2015. Following his graduation, Dr. Gavan gained valuable experience working in his father’s chiropractic office in Philipsburg, PA, before taking the bold step to open his own successful practice in Tyrone in 2017. To date, Dr. Gavan proudly carries the title of one of 13 skilled chiropractors in his family lineage. He eagerly looks forward to continuing to serve the Tyrone area and its surrounding communities by extending his expertise and commitment to excellence in the area of chiropractic care.
